1st Team 1 = 6 points

2nd Team 2 = 4 Points

3rd Team 2 = 3 points

4th Team 2 = 2 point

5th Team 1 = 0 points.

Now if your team was Team 1, you would have lost due to your team having 6 points compared to the 9 the other team had. In which

case, you lost the race, adjust, see what you did wrong and fix it.

If on the other hand. this scoresheet happened.

1st Team 1 = 6 points

2nd Team 2 = 4 Points

3rd Team 2 = 3 points

4th Team 1 = 2 point

5th Team 2 = 0 points.

You would have 8 points, your opponent 7, so your win.

The points/results aren't correct.

The accurate distribution of points is the following:

1st - 5.0

2nd - 4.0

3rd - 3.0

4th - 2.0

5th - 1.5

6th - 1.0

7th - 0.5

8th - 0.0

But this must be multiplied with a factor because of the count of players in every team ([players in team] / 2). This means:

2 players - 1.0

3 players - 0.6 period

4 players - 0.5

result = rounded ( [summary of position points] * factor )

If it will be a draw, then the team wins who had a player at 1st position.

For the first example from quote it means:

Team 1: 1st and 5th = (5.0 + 1.5) * 1.0 = 6.5 points

Team 2: 2nd, 3rd and 4th = (4.0 + 3.0 + 2.0) * 0.6 period = 6.0 points

For the second example from quote it means:

Team 1: 1st and 4th = (5.0 + 2.0) * 1.0 = 7.0 points

Team 2: 2nd, 3rd and 5th = (4.0 + 3.0 + 1.5) * 0.6 period = 5.7

In both examples team 1 is winning, but i think that it's not really fair too. The first example is more real a draw or a tight win

for team 2.

It would be better if the factor with 3 players would be at 0.75 (and not 0.6 period). So in the first example it would be a win

for team 2.

Haha

I didn't understand a word of that - lol! I thought the number of points won by a team was divided by the number of players on that team...
